Are Sasquatch and Fairies Real? What Interdimensional Beings Actually Are (And Why They're Appearing Now)
May 07, 2026
Most people have two reactions when Sasquatch comes up. They either dismiss it entirely, or they go quiet in a way that suggests they're not as skeptical as they're pretending to be.
Laurel, Elemental Oracle and facilitator at Lightbody Academy, spent decades in the second camp. She knew something was out there. She walked the same wetlands for twenty years looking for signs. And then one day, after a video of a talking Sasquatch landed in her inbox, everything shifted.
What followed wasn't a rabbit hole of conspiracy theories. It was something more grounded and more expansive than that; a direct, ongoing relationship with beings most people have written off as folklore.
What Interdimensional Beings Actually Are
The word "interdimensional" sounds abstract until you have a framework for it.
Laurel describes the Fae realm not as a distant place somewhere else in the universe, but as an overlapping reality. It exists alongside ours, occupying the same space at a different vibrational frequency. Fae beings — fairies, pixies, brownies, gnomes and others — exist primarily within that realm. To become visible here, they have to lower their vibrational rate enough to register in 3D reality. That energetic compression is part of why sightings are brief and partial.
Sasquatch operate differently. They carry a 3D aspect that Fae beings don't have, which is why encounters with them can be more sustained and more physical. They can blink in and out of our reality — present one moment, gone the next — but they're not strangers to this dimension the way Fae beings are.
Both, however, share one quality that changes how you have to think about contact: they read you completely. Your intent, your energy field, your history. They know your full energetic signature before you've said a word. Nothing about when or whether they appear to someone is random.
The Fairy Portal
Laurel's first direct encounter happened in a clearing on a mountain in BC, during the early days of COVID. She'd gone back to a path she'd stumbled across months earlier — one that had given her an inexplicable feeling she couldn't shake. This time she brought her daughter.
As they approached a clearing, that feeling built. At the center stood a giant maple tree, two trunks, a massive knot, and at the base a perfectly round opening that looked lifted straight from a fairy tale illustration.
They looked at each other and said the same thing: it's a fairy portal.
They started filming. Things began to appear.
This wasn't the last time. What started in that clearing became an ongoing series of encounters, documented on video, that Laurel has been working to help others understand ever since.
Why Sound and Story Wake This Up in You
Here's where it gets personal.
Laurel describes fairies as having been physically present in the 3D world hundreds of years ago. Given how many generations have passed since then, she suggests that most people carry some fraction of fairy DNA — dormant, but there. The question isn't whether it exists. It's what activates it.
Sound is one of the primary keys. Laurel experienced this directly when a friend played a Celtic song at a live performance. One particular melody lit her up internally with that same unmistakable feeling she'd learned to pay attention to. She went home and received a multi-page download about a specific fairy instrument — its anatomy, how it's played, who plays it — and woke in the night to write it all out.
Sound goes through everything, including cellular memory. The frequency of a Sasquatch's voice on a recording. A piece of Celtic music at a live show. A story told in the right way at the right moment. These aren't just experiences. They're activations.
What We Do Here Affects Their Realm
This is the part that carries the most weight.
Parts of the Fae realm are beginning to destabilize — not because of anything happening in their world, but because of what's happening in ours. The energetic integrity of overlapping realms is connected to what we do in this one. When it degrades here, it degrades there too.
Laurel has seen this directly. In a vision, she witnessed two small Fae beings — perfectly human-proportioned, about two and a half feet tall, clinging to each other in distress — who had been displaced from their realm as it began to break down. Sasquatch were present in that vision too, orienting the beings into 3D reality. But there were things only a human could do to help facilitate the process.
That's the point she keeps returning to: these beings are more magical than us in some ways. But we have capacities they don't. This isn't a story about powerful beings and passive humans. It's a collaboration. It always has been.
As Laurel puts it, it's no longer an individual game. It's a we game.
Why This Matters for Your Own Awakening
You don't have to see a Sasquatch to have a relationship with one. You don't have to capture footage of a fairy portal to know one exists near you. The beings in these realms are selective about who they show what to, and when — and that selectivity is based entirely on your energy, your intent, and what your soul is actually ready for.
For some people, a direct physical encounter is part of the path. For others, the activation comes through story, through sound, through a feeling in the woods they can't explain and have never told anyone about.
Laurel works with individuals who are ready to explore this territory — the elemental realms, interdimensional relationships, and the dormant perceptions waiting to be turned back on. Her work at Lightbody Academy is built on the understanding that this isn't fringe. It's ancient. And it's waking back up.
